著名黑人女演员【雷吉娜·金】将主演由电影《为奴十二年》的编剧【约翰·里德利】执导的传记片《雪莉》，讲述美国历史上著名的黑人国会议员【雪梨·奇泽姆】的政治一生，看她是如何打破【黑人＋女性】这特殊身份，从而成功当选历史上第一位黑人女性国会议员。一向不景气的豫剧团接到了一个振奋人心的消息：香港某集团邀其演出。然而就在启程之际团长遇意外身亡，豫剧团随之解散。剧团里的三个好兄弟：马三、刘兵和四海亦随之失业。 马三失业后，无奈下只好把斗鸡作为谋生手段，其妻大红一人分做两份工，一心想着出国；四海妻子素梅去了深圳发展，四海贩起了狗，夫妻间渐渐疏离；刘兵靠老丈人的钱开了间相馆，可他却不满足业余摄影师的现状。 生活所迫下，三个男人开始慢慢适应新的环境。他们的困惑也在改变中越积越厚，但是，生活的真相或许本是如此……。While Ted and Maxie are on a rock climbing trip to help conquer Ted's fear of heights, they find an unknown creature in the woods. They film their adventure and their footage is later discovered and compiled by an unknown person.
