方丽娟在一家广告公司任职，她一直受到上司Monica的歧视。Monica只想寻找机会把方丽娟解雇。公司老板的儿子胡启明从外国回来接手爸爸的生意，但他的兴趣是在制作甜点，所以他每天下班都会去学做蛋糕，回到家就要欺骗爸爸自己去了应酬。丽娟十分不满Monica对她的苛刻，错手把一个丑化Monica的动画发到了Monica的邮箱，Monica要求启明解雇丽娟，启明只好服从。绝望之际丽娟得知任何公司都不能解雇孕妇，所以她决定假扮孕妇。 没想到正好有一个立功的机会，却被Monica识穿了她假扮孕妇的事，令一直疼爱她的客户十分失望……。俄罗斯版《大事件》由瑞典导演安德斯·班克（Anders Banke）执导，班克在莫斯科的电影学院念书，并且能够讲一口流利的俄语，他曾经导演《致命吸血鬼》，正是这部电影中透出的才华让俄罗斯制片公司看中，选择其拍摄《大事件》，这也是俄罗斯第一次翻拍香港电影。从公布的剧照、预告片来看，整部电影营造的警匪对抗的紧张气氛更为浓厚，另有不少爆炸戏份。。Since the end of their pirate radio station, life has been quiet for the Kurupt FM boys, but everything is about to change.
