The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque. Special thanks to the family of Usmar Ismail.。克拉拉是一个39岁的成功女人，离婚后独自生活在柏林的她一边继续自己关于黑格尔的博士论文，一边在大学教授哲学课程。然而在她成功的表象之下还隐藏着许多秘密和麻烦：除了青春期的女儿让她拿捏不准，与学生的秘密恋情、与导师的关系也都令她焦头烂额。此外她还需要面对的，还有自己作为“做题家”，与家乡乡村之间的羁绊。。
