A company of friends rises in the funicular to meet unforgettably New Year's Eve on the top of the mountain. The guys are already anticipating how they will cheerfully slide down to the beat of the chimes and explosions of fireworks. But the adventure turns into a real nightmare, when in the midst of the holiday a flimsy trailer gets stuck over the precipice.。度假归来的弗兰（塔姆辛·格雷格 Tamsin Greig 饰）发现布莱克书店更阴暗脏乱了，书籍和垃圾堆积成山，店内一个顾客也看不到。原来伯纳（迪兰·莫兰 Dylan Moran 饰）终于彻底惹怒了曼尼（比尔·贝利 Bill Bailey 饰），曼尼赌气出走到了隔壁新开的书店，留下生活无法自理的伯纳与垃圾为伴。 新书店虽然明亮整洁，曼尼却还是想着回到布莱克书店。他希望伯纳能主动道歉，这样自己就能有台阶回来。无奈恶劣的伯纳就是不肯先低头，看不下去的弗兰只得出面担任他俩的调解人。但弗兰自己也有糟糕的生活需要理清和重新开始…… 本剧全三季，此为最终季。。
